I know the world is so small. But not this small.

Last week, i saw my brother's photos on Facebook. He was at his mate's wedding. Named  Tariq.

Few days later, i saw my scondary school friend's Facebook. She was at her cousin's wedding. Named Tariq.

Today, i saw my housemate's Facebook. She was at her college mate's wedding. Named Tariq.

And its all the same Tariq. To make the world even smaller, Tariq was my senior in senior high school.

I'm feeling nausea already.

I always thought im random, now i realized its actually a thing in our family. It runs in d blood. And its proven. Here's a conversation with baby brother, Mamat at Hayaki Cafe, Kota Bharu:

N: Weh, cube teka aku jumpe siapa kat Tesco tadi
M: Sabri Yunus!!
N: Hmmm... Aku jumpe We Li, scuba instuctor kite tu.

Wat????? Sabri Yunus???? Apakah tekaan itu?

Ini ialah Sabri Yunus, pelawak terkenal (suatu ketika dalulu)

Dan ini ialah We Li, scuba instructor kat Perhentian

Nampak persamaan mereka? Benar, mereka tiada persamaan kecuali kedua-dua ialah orang Kelantan dan kedua-dua gambar berlatar belakang berwarna biru.

Maka, terbukti Kakak Cantek dan Adik Hensem adalah adik-beradik yang rawak.

Family Photos

I have this thing against ugly family potraits. Big time! Looking at a family photo of jom-beli-kain-segulung-kat-Kamdar-dan-buat-baju-untuk-semua-orang-serta-sofa-dan-langsir-kite-juge yang bermuka ketat, sumpah tak reti senyum, with symmetrical arrangements of big brother, mom, dad, second brother, and two sisters at the front - is sickening, it feels like laxatives that makes me go for poo-poo.

Please stop all this crap on family unity. United, close-knitted family does not requires you to wear clothes off the same knits. Buruk kau tau tak? Burukkkkkkkk!!!

And those smiles. Please. Please. Pleaseeee. We are not doing advertising for constipation medicine. Please smile like u mean it. Show some teeth mom and dad. And abang, u are not hired to guard off dad's house or to kick some asshole who tried to court your sisters. Show some cheers dude, it feels like i can see u holding an invisible armour an a machine-gun perhaps.

Sis, could you just for 2 secs imagine Ryan Reynolds, Justin Timberlake, or even Fahrin Ahmad is waving at you? You smile turns my heart into metal. Nothing near melting-my-heart-like-some-cheese-fondue. Ur smiling as if ur seeing Mr. Os and Peter Halier winking at your pretty face.

Also, your camera does not need to be planted on the floor, 180 degrees from your face, attached to non-moving stick. You know why? Because when we look at the photos one after another, it looks super-imposed, as if you use the same background and koyak-dan-tampal muka semua org dan lekatkan di atas background tersebut. Tidak cool sama sekali.

Please ditch those "clusters" family photo too. U know, the one with EVERYBODY cramped into one photo, and all families that bought the kain-sepapan each would cluster at one spot? So you can see all the Blues on the right is Pak Long's family, the Reds in the middle are Pak Ngah's, and Green at the back are Pak Lang's. And still everyone put on their constipated face. Not cool either. Not cool at all.

Wanting to put some photos, tapi tak sampai hati.

I guess its just the raya season thing im seeing a lot of family photos. Its the same feeling when its graduation season - for looking at graduation photos with rak buku palsu. Just worst. Please refer to this.

Ok peeps, ibu bapa dah memanggil2 untuk keluar membeli barang perkahwinan abang tersayang. SiGemukYangCantik needs to pen off.

Raya kan sebulan...

Syawal weekends are tiring. And filling. And fattening. Especially when we're in Malaysia tanah airku yang tercinta. That includes Friday nite at Bukit Jalil National Stadium watching Verdasco and Gasquet on Malaysian Open quarter final. Takleh random lagi ke?

Saturday was a day of full tank of petrol. A day of sesat jalan the whole freaking day. I've lost my bearing. BIG TIME. I felt numb. Senseless. But yet, I'm glad I went out. Shi's wedding at Putrajaya was all an unplanned reunion. I met all these random people that once was part of my life.

• Anis, Meera, Ain from Assunta

Owh, and SHI. The bride. My classmate in Assunta back in 1998. Kawan main basikal petang2 kat kuantan, pegi Jabatan Pendidikan (wat the....?!), berenti kat gerai makcik beli pisang goreng yg amat lazat, dan pegi kedai runcit Sri Pelindong beli air pepsi. OMG it has been 11 freaking long years. We're all grown up (well, I was big when I was small. So really, I shrunk). Shi's a complete person with her other half now.

I don't understand how people get married, it looks funny. Watever.

Anyway, Sunday wasn't any less tiring. Off to Bukit Jelutong after Zuhur to Aisyah's place. Another reunion taken place. Perth peeps this time. Miza came with baby Ayden, Zarina is having 3rd baby, and Farah as clumsy as she was ever be. And Aisyah's getting engaged :D Just me now, happily single and rich. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!!

Gerak to Aimie's after Asar. This time its cousins reunion. 4 cousins that was studying Accounting all from different part of Australia. SexyHippo from Perth, Aimie from Melbourne, Boy from Brisbane, and Azzam from Tasmania. See, we are all evenly distributed all over Australia. Hehheheh.. And Boy's getting married. Finally! To his long time girlfriend of 8 years, Nisa. And as good as they planned, he's wedding will be on the same day of my brother's; just that Boy's gonna be in Brunei and Hilmee's gonna be in KL. So, makcik2 sila la plan sape nak pegi mane ye.

Had coffee with abang botak at Ali Cafe. I bet org2 kat Kelana Mall dah muntah darah tgk muke I, hari2 lepak situ, kalau tak Old Town, mesti Papa Rich, tak pon Ali Cafe. LIFE'S WONDERFUL :D

Am back in KB now!!

Grape-ist

 Grape-ist = Penganggur

Kerja paling awesome di dunia. Terlalu awesome. Contoh kerja seorang grape-ist ialah:

• Bangun pukul 7.30pagi, dan memaksa diri untuk tidor lagi.
• Setelah memaksa diri macam nak gila sampai sakit kepala, baru bangun tido, dan ketika itu jam menunjukkan jam 11.30pagi.
• Baring dan kelip2 mata sambil fikir hari ni nak buat ape.
• Bangun dari katil dan mencuci baju tanpa berebut washing machine dgn housemate yg lain kerana takde siapa nak cuci baju pada pukul 1.30 petang.
• Keluar jam 3.00 petang dan menuju bank dan menguruskan apa2 yg patut.
• Bergerak ke Old Town bersama netbook gedik untuk lunch seorang diri dan bermain internet.
• Makan mee kari dan minum 3 gelas teh susu sejuk sambil mengenet.
• Pukul 5.30 petang memandu ke Sunway Pyramid dan have Thai Full Body Massage selama sejam.
• Pulang ke rumah dan bermandi manda.
• Keluar semula ke rumah Sarah the Lesbo Partner untuk menghantar barang2 kiriman.
• Update blog.
• Pulang ke rumah pada jam 10.30 malam.
• Gossip ngan housemates sampai tgh malam.  
• Tido tanpa berfikir wat to do tomorow.

BEST KAN? Kan? Kan? Kan?
